LiveHealthy

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 24 September 2026 · Applies to the LiveHealthy family of apps (currently LiveHealthy-Medicine Reminder; future apps in the series will be covered by this same policy unless a given app states otherwise).

LiveHealthy is developed by HomiLabs ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information our apps collect, how it's used, and the choices you have.

1. Who this applies to

LiveHealthy-Medicine Reminder is built for patients — often elderly or visually impaired — and the family members or caregivers who help set up and manage their medicine schedules. An account may manage just the account holder's own medicines, or medicines for one or more family members added as separate patient profiles.

2. Information we collect

Account information

Name, email address, and a password (handled by Firebase Authentication — we never see or store your password ourselves), and your preferred language.

Health and medicine information you enter

Patient names and relationship to the account holder; medicine names, strengths, forms, expiry dates, and photos of medicine packs you choose to save; dosing schedules; a record of doses marked taken, snoozed, or skipped; purchase/refill entries.

This information is entered directly by you or a caregiver — we do not collect it from any other source.

Camera and pack scanning

The pack-scanning feature reads text and barcodes from a photo entirely on your device (using Google's ML Kit), to help pre-fill a medicine's name, strength, and expiry date. The photo itself is not uploaded or sent anywhere unless you choose to save it as that medicine's pack photo — in which case it's stored the same way as your other medicine data (see below).

What we don't collect

We don't collect advertising identifiers, and the app carries no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. We don't access your contacts, location, or messages.

3. How we use this information

We do not use your health data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

4. Where your data is stored

Data is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud) infrastructure. Access is restricted at the database level: a patient's medicines, schedules, dose history, and purchases are only readable by the account holder and any caregivers explicitly added to that patient's profile — not by other LiveHealthy users, and not by us as a matter of routine.

5. Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal or health information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Data may be shared with the caregivers you explicitly add to a patient's profile — that sharing is a feature you control, not something we do on your behalf.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and the data you own at any time — see our Delete Account page for how, both from inside the app and from the web.

7. Children's privacy

LiveHealthy apps are intended to be set up and operated by an adult account holder — either managing their own medicines or a family member's. The apps are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from children.

8. Your rights

You can review and edit the information you've entered directly within the app at any time, and request deletion as described above. If you have questions about your data, contact us using the details below.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
